In order to access your Course settings, click on the Settings link on the course menu.

edit course settings

Some of these settings are locked as they are controlled by our beloved Colleague system.

Course visibility

The most important setting for you to understand is Course visibility. Until you make your course visible, your students will not even see it in their list of courses. All you need to do is access Settings and set Course visibility to Show.

Course Dates

The dates that you see for your course are based on the actual dates set by the Registrar's Office when the course is set up in Colleague. They determine when the course shows up under Current, in your and your students' My courses page. If these dates seem incorrect to you, you should contact the Registrar's Office.

Enable Download Course Content

You can allow students to download the contents of your course as a website in a zip file. Simply set Enable download course content to Yes.

enable download course contact

With this option set, students will now see a new menu option in the course - More ∨. Under this menu is an item called Download course content.
